An online training platform was presented by the Association “Democratic Association I Want to Know”

The digital platform is the result of a year-long effort by experts from seven countries — Italy, Austria, Sweden, Bulgaria, Greece, Spain, and Croatia. They joined forces in the implementation of the project “StarWomen – Simulation Training for Women” (2023-1-IT02-KA220-ADU-000161080).

The project aims to create a significant impact on teachers and trainers in VET (Vocational and Educational Training) and adult education — including CPIA educators and unemployed women — by providing training in transversal skills and raising awareness about their importance. The goal is to strengthen the employability of unemployed women over the age of 40 and to improve the quality of social relationships among citizens and colleagues in the workplace.

Fostering a culture of transversal skills education will also contribute significantly to increasing awareness and dissemination of EU-promoted policies through data sharing on relevant institutional platforms such as the EPALE Journal — from the ESCO classification to EU directives and recommendations related to lifelong learning.

The first online presentation of the platform took place on June 19 at 11:00 a.m. via Zoom and was attended by 13 representatives from local and regional authorities, as well as employment offices supporting unemployed individuals in their job search.
The second presentation of the project and the online platform will be held again via Zoom on Monday, June 30 at 11:00 a.m., with invited representatives of non-governmental organizations, social partners, and training centers. “If you would like to join the meeting, please use the following link:

The NGO also plans to organize another online event in July, along with meetings with unemployed women from the project’s target group, to introduce them to the opportunities offered by the platform to help them develop skills that will increase their chances of successful integration into the labor market.

The project “StarWomen – Simulation Training for Women” (2023-1-IT02-KA220-ADU-000161080) is funded by the Erasmus+ Programme. It started at the end of 2023 and will be completed by the end of October 2025.
